I provide counselling and psychotherapy for adults and older adolescents aged 16 and over.

People come to see me for many different reasons, including:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry
  • Stress and burnout
  • Trauma and difficult life experiences
  • Relationship and interpersonal difficulties
  • Communication and assertiveness
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Grief and loss
  • Major life changes and adjustment
  • Alcohol and other drug concerns

  • Emotional regulation
  • Workplace and career difficulties
  • Living with complex or ongoing mental health concerns

Some people come to therapy because of a specific problem or crisis, while others want to understand longer-standing patterns in their relationships, emotions or behaviour.

My approach is person-centred, collaborative and practical. Rather than applying the same therapy to everyone, I draw on different psychological approaches according to the individual, their circumstances and what they would like to achieve.

These may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness and insight-oriented approaches.

Sessions are available face-to-face and via telehealth.
